‘Tis The Season For Giving

It was 3 years ago when Choice Bank Location President, George Wald, was approached with a request to sponsor the toy room at the new Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center in Dickinson, ND. He learned that the old shelter did not have the space for a toy room or play area for the children. Over the course of the next 3 years Choice donated $25,000 to the new toy room.

With construction on the toy room at the new center complete, Choice employees also decided to donate over $500 worth of locally bought toys just last week.

“The amount of work the board and the staff at The Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center put into building the new center has been inspiring, “ says George Wald. “It’s been a pleasure working with them to help make the children’s days a little brighter.”

The Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center works to provide safety and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault across all of southwestern North Dakota.
