Card Control Features
The Choice Mobile Banking app gives you the freedom to control multiple functionalities of your debit card. To use our Card Control Features with your debit card, you must be signed up for Online Banking and have the Choice Bank mobile app downloaded to your smart phone. Click here to learn more.
Enable Card for Use
Is your debit card lost or stolen? Disable your debit card within seconds to avoid any new transactions or purchases from occurring. If you find your debit card, you can re-enable it and begin using it immediately.
Threshold Amount
To prevent overspending, set a transaction limit to ensure you stay on budget. This also is a great way to alleviate fraudulent charges or regulate spending on other cards such as a card your child may be using.
Transaction Types
Choose transaction types to prevent purchases not made by you. Rarely shop online? Disable the eCommerce transaction type.
Locations Controls
Before heading out on vacation, set up custom regions to ensure your card can be used without trouble. You can also block international transactions if you are staying within the country.

SecureLOCK Features
Choice Bank debit cards are equipped with an enhanced fraud protection feature called SecureLOCK. SecureLOCK utilizes email and text notifications, in addition to phone calls, to alert you of suspicious activity on your Choice Bank debit card. It’s a 24/7 service providing faster and more convenient methods of contacting you to identify potentially fraudulent transactions to your account quickly.
Email Notifications
If a potential fraud attempt is found, you will receive an email fraud alert notification sent from FraudServiceCenter@bankwithchoice.com with the subject line URGENT: Suspicious Activity Detected on Your Card. The email will list the details of the possible fraudulent activity. You will then be prompted to click one of two statements in the body of the email: All Transaction(s) Authorized or One or More Transaction(s) NOT Authorized.
- All Transaction(s) Authorized – The fraud alert will be closed and you can continue using your debit card.
- One or More Transaction(s) NOT Authorized – A temporary block will be put on your debit card to halt any new transactions. You will then receive a call from a Fraud Alert Specialist to inspect the fraudulent activity.
Text Notifications
If a potential fraud attempt is found, a fraud alert notification will be sent via text to your cell phone from the Choice Bank Fraud Center. You will be notified with the details of the suspicious purchase and prompted to reply YES or NO to verify if the transaction is authorized.
- YES – If the transaction is authorized, the fraud alert will be closed and you can continue using your debit card.
- NO – If the transaction is not authorized, you will receive a call from a Fraud Alert Specialist to inspect the fraudulent activity.
Contactless Tap to Pay
With Contactless Tap to Pay, transactions are fast, easy, and secure. Choice Bank’s debit cards are equipped with contactless payment technology to make paying at a contactless terminal as simple as tap and go. Contactless Tap to Pay is just as secure as using the EMV chip on your card, and your payment is processed without having to touch a keypad or hand your debit card to a cashier.

You can also utilize contactless payment technology with Choice Bank’s Mobile Wallet. Mobile Wallet is a digital wallet on your devices that streamlines the checkout process in-store, in apps, and online with one secure account on your smartphone, tablet, and desktop computer. Debit Card Safety Tips
1. Memorize your PIN. DO NOT write it on the back of your card and do not keep it with you.
2. Never give your PIN to anyone.
3. Remember to pick up your ATM receipt.
4. Always obtain merchant receipts.
5. When using your card always keep it in sight.
