What You’ll Learn

If you have ever felt “just lucky” to have reached where you are or feel you are not as qualified as others think you are, you could be experiencing Imposter Syndrome. Imposter Syndrome is a psychological occurrence in which people doubt their skills and fear being exposed as frauds. Despite their accomplishments, those experiencing Imposter Syndrome do not believe they deserve their success. Fast-paced work environments and constant change create fertile ground for imposter thoughts to fester. Imposter Syndrome may manifest as restlessness or nervousness and may also be accompanied by symptoms of anxiety and depression. 70-80% of people experience imposter syndrome at some time in their careers. Join us for a Q&A with Rita Webster, Ph.D., who will answer your questions and share tips for how to create supportive environments that decrease the chances of imposter thoughts being triggered.
