Choice Bank Leaders Complete Volunteer Project at Farm in the Dell

MOORHEAD, Minn. — Nearly 100 Choice Bank leaders spent August 14th volunteering at Farm in the Dell as part of Ignite26, the bank’s annual leadership experience. This year’s Ignite26 theme, Boldly Bloom, challenged participants to put ownership, belonging, and community impact into action. The Farm in the Dell, a Moorhead-based nonprofit, provides meaningful opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities through agricultural work and community engagement.

Throughout the day, the Choice Bank team harvested corn, planted trees, built bird houses, created reusable tote bags from repurposed T-shirts, and pulled weeds.

“There is no way we could have gotten all this done without the Choice team,” said Matt Larson of Farm in the Dell.

This volunteer effort reflects Choice Bank’s commitment to its Core Value of “Better the Places We Live” by investing time, energy, and resources into organizations that strengthen local communities. The work completed during the event will support Farm in the Dell’s agricultural operations and their ongoing mission to create meaningful opportunities for the people it serves.
