Brian Cox serves as a Partner and the Integrator/President at Traction Capital, a Venture Capital and Private Equity fund that invests “smart capital” in Minnesota and Midwest entrepreneurs and their promising companies. He has been an entrepreneur his entire life, having started his first lawn and landscape business while in high school and eventually selling it. In 2004, while studying at the University of St. Thomas, Brian founded his current business, Simply Ride, which has since become the largest in its industry and local market. While he still owns the company and is involved in strategy, his leadership team runs the daily operations. At Traction Capital, he enjoys working with founders and helping them grow their companies.
