More About Derek
My name is Derek Leupke and I am an insurance advisor specializing in commercial business and personal insurance. I’m a one-stop shop with a primary goal to provide you competitive pricing, comprehensive coverage, and a level of service that is unrivaled in the industry. My philosophy is to represent your interests as though they were our own – and in many ways, they are. My professional philosophy relates to expanding my expertise, educating and assisting my clients, contributing to society, or learning new skills. I’m passionate about serving others, providing for my family, and making the most of opportunities.
I was born and raised in Minnesota, graduated from Iowa State and Bond University in Australia with business degrees in marketing/management. I then worked for MetLife as a traveling sales representative in northern Minnesota, the Twin Cities, and North Dakota for a couple of years before becoming an independent insurance agent for the last 15 years.
My wife Cortney and I have a son named Dalton and a dog Chewy. I enjoy all outdoor activities, including golf, hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and landscaping. I look to build strong long-term relationships with my clients. Friendships, family, and clients are very important to me and I try to treat everyone with the same meaningful approach.
