Choice Financial Named #2 Community Bank in US by Standard & Poor’s!
The great American philosopher and rapper Nelly once proposed, “two is not a winner and three nobody remembers.” Well, Nelly, we respectfully disagree with you. We think being number two is pretty great. In fact, we’ve busted out our dancing shoes and are doing the dance of joy over being named the #2 community bank in the United States with assets between $1B and $10B by Standard & Poor’s for 2015.
Here is why we think this is so cool; there are around 550 banks in the US that fall into this asset size. That’s a lot of banks. According to Standard & Poor’s, we are the #2 community bank out of all of those banks, and the #1 community bank in North Dakota.
This isn’t the first time Standard & Poor’s has ranked Choice Financial highly. In 2013 and 2014, respectively, we were ranked the #1 and #8 community bank in the country. And we are the only bank to have been ranked in the top 10, the last three years in a row. All of this shows that we are more than just a bank, we are one of the best banks in the United States.
Despite Nelly’s beliefs on the subject, we think that is worth celebrating. And we couldn’t have done any of it without our amazing customers. “We are proud of the work our customers do and the business they entrust us with,” said CEO Brian Johnson. “It’s our good fortune to live in a state where our customers and business partners prosper.”
