As things continue to rapidly evolve and more preventative measures are being taken against COVID-19, we have made changes to procedures, that may impact the way you typically conduct your banking with us. These decisions were not made lightly but were done in accordance with social-distancing recommendations and our continued commitment to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and communities.
We are very fortunate that we have sound resources to keep our organization up and running. You can rest assured between, remote work capabilities and rotation of staff we are prepared to service from anywhere!
The following changes will take effect on Wednesday, March 18, 2020:
- In-Bank Deposits and Transactions
Effective immediately, all locations will only be accepting deposits/transactions through our Drive-Up (where available) and our Night Drop boxes. You can access a full list of our Drive-Up and Night Drop locations on our website HERE. Our Night Drop locations will be collected regularly during normal business hours. If your banking needs are better served through an in-person meeting, please contact your nearest Choice Bank location to schedule an appointment.
- Business Change Order Requests
Businesses in need of a change order can contact their nearest Choice Bank location to place an order and schedule a pick-up time. You can find a list of all bank locations on our website HERE.
- Check Cashing
We currently have plans to continue to cash checks in our locations. For locations that offer drive-thru access, please use this option. If a drive-thru is not available, a phone number will posted on our lobby doors to gain access; you can also schedule an appointment ahead of time. - Alternative Services/Options – for individuals
We strongly encourage all customers to use alternative banking methods whenever possible. With Choice Online Banking and the Choice Mobile App you can view transactions, transfer funds, make payments, and deposit checks. More information on Choice Online Banking and Mobile apps, including how to enroll, can be found on our website HERE.
- Alternative Services/Options – for businesses
We strongly encourage all customers to use alternative banking methods whenever possible. With Choice Online Banking and the Choice Business Mobile App you can view transactions, transfer funds, make payments, and deposit checks. We will waive fees on all deposits made through Choice Business Mobile through April 14, 2020. If you do not currently have access to Online Banking or mobile deposit through our app, please contact our Cash Management Operations Team at 763.210.7775 or email email@example.com to get set up.
- Waived ATM Fees
We will waive or refund all ATM fees for customers who elect to use ATMs as an alternative cash source, through June 1, 2020. You can also access a list of more than 32,000 MoneyPass® ATM locations, nationwide that always offer fee-free ATM transactions for Choice Bank customers HERE.
- Lending Needs
We also understand that there may be instances where customers find themselves facing financial difficulties. Choice Bank is here to help and we encourage those that may be impacted to reach out. Your well-being—and that of your family and business—is our priority and we would like to discuss how we might be of assistance.
- Other Appointments
We will limit in-person meetings whenever possible, in favor of using phone and video technology to conduct meetings, to comply with social distancing recommendations.
